Finally !!

Netball has come to an end ! Meagan has enjoyed every moment of it, despite a shaky start to the season and a few moans and groans, threats of quiting and plain sillyness. she has done so well....and here's the proof of it ! I'm sooooo proud of my Baby, well done Gurl....You Rock....!

The mistral era has come to and end...

The Nissan Mistral Era has finally come to an end. This was the third one I owned but sadly it was the last. It has become just too expensive to maintain and to run and the excuse of using it to go fishing just didn't cut the ice anymore......so this one has to go....

I'm sooooo proud of my baby, she's a real star player and has improved in leaps and bounds since she started playing netball.

Weekend away to the capital

It was a very well-deserved break for all of us. Meagan had a blast of a time, standing in the NZ parliament next to the PM's seat....imagine....I am sooooo proud of my baby.....swinging her heart out and not complaining once.....She only complained when she had to get up and go to school the next day.....lol....Looking forward to the next adventure....maybe Christchurch next time.

Finally...a break...

We're celebrating the Queen's birthday on Monday 1 June, which means a long weekend, one of only 3 for the year. Fishing is very much on the menu with the weather being the greatest thread apart from E's nagging and a looming cold...It's been a while since I've been here....

9 more weeks to go!

It was only the first week of school, but it felt as if school was already on for 6 weeks....full on reports....i had a terrible week....the weather was'nt realy on my side and didn't help my cause....it was so hot the past two nights....i just could not sleep....i could swear i was suffering from insomnia or withdrawal symptoms....i finally took the ultimate step...i decided to kick the habit after.....yrs...lets just say ...it was long overdue.....managed to get a major out of the way...finished all my reports with one day to spare...hallelujah...

It feels like I have more bags under my eyes today then Paris Hilton probably has in her cupboard.

Ooh what a day..

We had our TOD ( Teachers Only Day ) today. It was good.....I was soooo tired...went to bed 04h00 am as i had to prepare a Science Presentation for our Topic Studies Planning for the Term. It went really well and i think i scored some browny points with my principal....It was good to see the staff got into the activities and were really excited...anyway.....as far as fishing is concerned ....i pretty much think i've come to the end of that....for now at least... :-((....lol

Cold....Freezing....Shivering...

It is so cold outside...i think it is about 8 degrees Celsius. Weatherman predicted a high of 18 for tomorrow...with sunshine.....might just be my lucky break to go .....f......E phoned Miggie tonight...mommy's baby....i could sense E is missing her even though she is only 20 min away....T is at home....in bed...hallelujah...amazing what prayer can do... touch wood the weekend is still ahead...I thought it would be a good idea to include a pic with every post...just to give you something to look at...enjoy. It rained the whole day, seems like winter is finally here, that also sounds the end of the fishing season. Got up fairly late this morning, dread to think what it is going to be like when school starts, next week. Had to take Meagan to Manurewa. She is sleeping over at a friend's place for a few days.I went to take pictures for an assignment in the Botanic Gardens in Manurewa. the place is as beautiful as ever. Was pretty nackered by the time I had a complete walk through the Gardens.lol...anyway... Myself and Ernestine are experiencing the empty nest syndrome. Stanford and Mel's baby boy, Eric was born at 19h45 tonight. Watched all my favourite tv shows tonight. E was off to bed early as usual....

Wanted to go fishing today, but the weather was turning to custard. The day started out really nice, but it got a bit windy by mid-day. Decided to stay at home. Bernie and fam came to visit. We had a nice dinner together. Meagan enjoyed having Bethany over for the afternoon. Hopefully I will get another day of fishing in, off the boat, before school starts on the 27th of April.
